Let's See It
Benji's girlfriend breaks up with him and he doesn't take it well.
His music store goes out of business and he must get a new job, while his relationship with his girlfriend gets sour and she finally breaks up with him as he starts at his new job: a broista at cafe paridiso.
At some point Benji cracks and breaks into her house with the key under the rock in the front yard and wanders into her room, reminiscing for a moment before her dad finds him and chases him out, threatening to call the cops. It's as he's being chased out that he gets a call from the manager of Cafe Paridiso, asking either for an interview or telling him he's been hired.
Benji, being straight edge, can't have caffeine. this makes things awkward and eventually he may cave and just drink coffee.
In that case: "You know caffeine is a drug, right?"
"...shut the hell up."
